If that changes

If we ever add affiliate links (for example, to parts suppliers or tools we genuinely recommend), this page will be updated, and every article containing affiliate links will carry a clear disclosure at the top. Our rule is simple: we only recommend parts, tools, and services we’d buy ourselves, and affiliate relationships never influence our conclusions.

Why disclose this now?

Because trust compounds. We’d rather state our position clearly on day one than quietly change it later.
